মহানগর ডেস্কঃ কলকাতায় আবারও বিপুল পরিমাণ হিসাব বহির্ভূত নগদ টাকা উদ্ধারের সম্ভাবনা। সোমবার কলকাতার লোয়ার রাউডন স্ট্রিটে এক সংস্থার অফিসে হঠাতই হানা দেন ইডি-র কিছু আধিকারিক। কয়েক ঘন্টা ধরে চলে তল্লাশি। এরপরেই টাকা গণনার মেশিন নিয়ে ওই অফিসে ঢুকতে দেখা যায় এক ব্যাঙ্ক আধিকারিককে। এখান থেকেই রটে যায় ওই সংস্থার অফিসে রয়েছে বিপুল পরিমাণ অর্থ।
ইডি সূত্রের খবর সোমবার বিকেল চারটে নাগাদ ওই অফিসে হানা দেন ইডি-র ৬ জন আধিকারিক। এরপর থেকেই শুরু হয় তল্লাশি। সেই তল্লাশির পরেই উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে বিপুল অঙ্কের নগদ টাকা এমনটাই ইডি সূত্রে জানানো হয়েছে। তবে মোট টাকার পরিমাণ কত তা নিয়ে ইডির তরফে বিস্তারিত কিছুই জানানো হয়নি এখনও।
২২৭ আনন্দলোক বিল্ডিংয়ের তিন তলার ওই অফিস বিভিন্ন কোম্পানিকে ব্যবসায়ীক বিনিয়োগে পরামর্শ দিয়ে থাকেন বলে সূত্রের খবর। সোমবার বিকেলে বেশ কয়েক ঘন্টা ধরে তল্লাশি চালানো হয় ওই স্কুলে। অফিসের ভিতরে কীভাবে এত টাকা এলো সে ব্যাপারে কর্মীদের জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করা হলে তাঁদের তরফেও কোনও সদুত্তর মেলেনি বলে জানানো হয়েছে ইডির তরফে। টাকার আসল উৎস কী? তা নিয়ে সঠিক ধারণা পেতে অফিসের নথিপত্র খতিয়ে দেখছেন ইডি আধিকারিকেরা ।
গত জুলাই মাসে প্রাক্তন শিক্ষামন্ত্রী পার্থ চট্টোপাধ্যায়ের ঘনিষ্ঠ অর্পিতা মুখোপাধ্যায়ের দু’দুটি ফ্ল্যাট থেকে উদ্ধার হয় প্রায় ৫০ কোটি টাকা। অন্যদিকে সম্প্রতি গার্ডেনরিচের পরিবহণ ব্যবসায়ী আমির খানের বাড়ি থেকেও উদ্ধার হয়েছে প্রায় ১৭ কোটি ৩২ লক্ষ টাকা। এবার এই অফিস থেকে কত উদ্ধার হয় সেই বিষয়টাই দেখার।
